Arlene M. Jones age 82 of Bloomington IL passed away at 6:40 PM on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center, Normal, IL. Her visitation will be from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM Saturday (January 21, 2017) at Beck Memorial Home, Bloomington, IL at the conclusion of the visitation there will be a family prayer. Private inurnment will be at East Twin Grove Cemetery, Bloomington, IL. The family suggests memorials be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Arlene was born on August 25, 1934 in Bloomington, IL the daughter of Jess W. and Opal F. Whitehouse Stauffer.

Surviving, 2 sons, Michael Steven Jones, Spanaway, Washington, Brian Wade Jones, Danvers, IL, 6 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters, Frances Rentz, Texas, Judy Jones, Oregon, Kay McGuffin, Kentucky, Robin Hines, Florida.

Arlene is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son, David Lee Jones, 1, sister Beverly Atkins and a 1 brother, Billy Stauffer.

Arlene had been retired from Nestle Beich Candy Company where she had worked for many years. She was loved by all. “Ma Jones” is saying goodbye to family, friends and co-workers.
